I’d love to contribute to any family friendly blog, magazine, or other publication. My topics of expertise and interest include:

* Pregnancy (and natural childbirth)
* Natural Living
* Food and Nutrition
* Frugality
* Christianity and Faith
* Non-profit organizations

* Homeschooling and Education

I am happy to give you an estimate for your individual needs. Please contact me with the type of writing you need and whether it is a one-time assignment or a need for an ongoing contribute. Please also include your budget or regularly offered payment.

In general, I charge $30 per 400-600 word article, less for blog posts. I will consider any offer, so don’t hesitate to contact me.

Proofreading and Editing

Basic proofreading services include correction of spelling, punctuation, and grammar mistakes. An effort will be made to point out an overuse of terms, and cliche phrases will be identified if distracting.
Fees: $0.01 per word for non-technical writing (including fiction), and $0.02-$0.05 for technical writing depending on the subject matter.

“Light Editing” combines basic proofreading with an evaluation of the overall scope and flow of your work. Attention will be paid to distracting or unnecessary sections of text, and I will provide commentary on plot and character development (for works of fiction), as well as clarity and consistency of thought. I will utilize the “comments” feature of Word, but will not make changes to the original document beyond proofreading.
Fees: $0.02 -$0.07 per word depending on the type and length of work.

More extensive editing and re-writing services may be available upon request.

Payment accepted through paypal. Other forms of payment will be considered on an individual basis.
