Anjanette

Anjanette is the primary voice behind this blog. She I (why am I writing in third person?) am a 28 year old wife, mommy, cook, crafter, etc, etc. I am loving the life God has blessed me with, and striving to be the best steward of my family and resources that I can. You’ll get to know me well enough reading through my posts. For now, here’s a bit about me:

10 Random Facts about Anjanette

  1. I went by the nickname “Anjo” For the first 13 years of my life.
  2. I played viola throughout middle school, high school, and some of college. I also studied vocal music in college and still daydream about being “discovered.”
  3. My hair has been colored just about every color but pink (not that I have anything against pink – maybe that is yet to come).
  4. I love all things related to pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and infant care. I hope to pursue certificates in Childbirth and Lactation Education in the near future.
  5. I have a Bachelors degree in Japanese Area Studies and spent 9 months in Nagoya, Japan during college. This translates into a love of culture and the beauty of the great tapestry of diversity that is God’s children.
  6. I’ve been blogging on various sites since 1999. (I should be better at this by now!)
  7. I have three wonderful sisters and was shocked to have a baby boy the first time around!
  8. I enjoy knitting, crocheting, sewing, scrapbooking, and just about every other craft I’ve ever tried, but my attention span isn’t long enough to master any of them (is that one fact or  two?)
  9. There was a time in the not-too-distant past when I literally could not boil water.
  10. I really really like to-do lists and have to be careful to stop making them long enough to actually complete one.
