A Last-Minute Gift That Could Change Lives

You *could* get your dad another tie. I’m sure your mom will still love you if she receives another “we love grandma” coffee mug. And I know your sister would never complain about another bottle of smell-good lotion.

OR you could spend the same amount and honor that recipient with a card explaining how they motivated you to change the life of a child in need!

Buying something from Compassion International’s Christmas Gift Catalog is a wonderful way to get your last-minute shopping done this year. A little bit of money can go such a long way! Here are some examples:

$10 ~ Garden seeds for a family in Africa

$13 ~ Provide emergency feeding for a malnourished child

$22 ~ Teach an impoverished mother to read and write

$55 ~ Care for a baby’s medical needs for a whole year

$79 ~ Safe water for life for a child and family

It’s my goal to encourage my to give a total of at least $200 this week before Christmas. If you choose to give – any amount! – I’d love to know!

Consider it a way to bless children in need, your loved ones, yourself, and ME! :)
