Make it Yourself Monday: Nut Butter

So easy and so much fun! I decided to make a video in lieu of typing up a recipe and I hope you enjoy it! If you listen closely, you’ll hear a brief outburst from both of my children. My hubby filmed it and Cora played supporting actress. :)

I used 11ozs of cashews and 2 Tbs. melted virgin coconut oil.

One thing I forgot to mention is that coconut oil is solid at room temperature so if you use it as your oil you’ll want to let the cashew butter set out for a few minutes before you try to spread it. We had ours on warm toast this morning and just plopping it on the toast was enough to melt it to a spreadable temp.
What is your favorite nut butter? And what are you making yourself that most of us might buy in the store? Link up so we can read & enjoy!
