The Good -
If you read my twitters, you might have noticed me talking about working on the church website. I have been, and it’s been harder than I expected. Aidan doesn’t like me spending any significant time at the computer while he’s awake. In fact, he will come up and pull my hand off the mouse and/or cry at my side until I pick him up. So my poor pastor and the elders that assigned the site to me have been waiting and waiting and waiting for me to get my act in gear. The good news is, it’s up and running! I have a ton more uploading of sermons, etc. to do, but it’s functional and the new friends I mentioned in the last big post actually found us through the new site! yay!! You wanna check it out, don’t you? Click here: Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church.

The Kansas City Christian Childbearing Network (KCCCN) that I mentioned a few days ago is hosting a Waterbirth Credentialing Workshop next week on April 15, 2009, from 9 AM to 5:30 PM at Mercy and Truth Medical Missions Birth Center in Kansas City, KS. The speaker will be Barbara Harper, RN, CLD, CCCE. The workshop is approved for 7 Contact hours by the Ohio Association of Nurse Executives. Certificates will be available for attendees who attend the entire workshop.
The guest speaker is also providing a FREE community seminar the night of April 14, 2009 from 6:30 PM to 9 PM! I will definitely be there! If you are interested in natural/gentle birth, waterbirth or anything related, please come out and join us! To view the brochure , click here: http://sweetmiracles.web.
The AWESOME -

No, that’s not our sonogram. :) Do you remember our cousins Garrick and Briana who had beautiful baby Molly and had to say goodbye to her late last year? They are 14 weeks along with Molly’s little sibling!!!!!! The sonograms and heartbeat are looking/sounding great! We are so happy for them! Praise God for so many blessings!! You can read about the Mueller family’s journey at their blog, and please stop by Molly’s tribute page if you haven’t already by clicking here or on the picture of Molly on our right sidebar.
******Unrelated to any of the above, we are making a last minute trip to St. Louis this weekend to bring Rob’s dad back with us. It worked out that it seems easiest to throw the big furniture out and load the rest into the moving truck all in the same weekend and then make short trips back often to finish up the details. So in just a few days we will be a family of FOUR! :) Please pray for us if you think of us this holiday weekend, and have a very blessed Easter.
