Our adorable laughing baby

I didn’t grab the camera until he had been laughing for a good two minutes b/c I didn’t think he’d keep at it so long. You can tell he switches over to a fake laugh after a while but it was still hilarious. :)

And in case any of you are sitting on the edge of your seats wondering how my “detox” is going, I’ll sum it up: VEGAN_SCHMEAGAN! :D

I tried. I almost made it through the first day without anything resembling an animal, but I succombed to the temptation of blueberry kefir. I ate *ALL* day b/c I was famished – there’s just no way I can keep up without protein. I know that most vegans/vegetarians rely heavily on soy, but after reading “The Whole Soy Story,” I just can’t bring myself to purposely consume any – especially while nursing a baby boy. So I ate eggs and drank milk the next day, and then Sunday=FAIL. It was our monthly Family Feast (pot luck) at church and someone brought asian dumplings that had meat in them. so yummy! They weren’t the worst of it though – there was every kind of dessert my little heart could desire – and I did more than desire them. oh well. I did feel better until last night though and hitting restart was nice. At least I’m being more conscious of what’s going in my mouth now. Except for that reeses cup I had with my coffee this morning. Darn halloween candy!!!!!!!!!! :P
